Chocolate workshop during Museum Night 2024

The Museum of Counterfeit Money is opening its doors free of charge as part of Museum Night 2024. Several activities are on offer from 2pm to 10pm.

Chocolate workshop:

Get inspired by the story of Farinet, the famous counterfeiter from Saillon, to decorate your coin … in a chocolate version! Raffin chocolatier will give an introduction to the world of chocolate, followed by a workshop in which you will decorate a fake coin. Participants will be able to take home their own chocolate creation.

  • Minimum age: 7 years
  • Schedule: 3 pm / 4 pm / 5 pm

Free admission:

Admission to the Museum of Counterfeit Money is free from 2 pm to 10 pm.

Discover the temporary exhibition of Bayardine embroidery: the story of Guigone and Anselme embroidered over 16 metres by more than 250 Bayardine volunteers. Curious visitors can also watch the animated video presentation.

Guided tours:

Our guide specialising in counterfeiting will be on hand at 7pm and 8pm for a guided tour of the museum.

Between 2 banks” tour:

Visit the museums of Saxon, Fully and Saillon on board a bus to discover the museums on the 2 banks of the Rhône.
